Measures of Eye Movement
An important part of our research is understanding what people are looking at and how their eye movements change as they are moving through different environments. For this, we use a technique called video-oculography (VOG). Miniature video cameras track the vertical and horizontal movements of the pupils as subjects view a scene. Knowing the eye movements and head movements, we can determine the direction of gaze.
